AirUCI New Zealand Workshop

 

 


On December 11-13, 2006,
AirUCI held its third annual workshop on Chemistry At Interfaces at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Christchurch, New Zealand, co-hosted by the University of Canterbury there. 

A two-day scientific workshop was presented December 11-12 entitled Ions and Molecules at Aqueous Interfaces, and the annual business meeting of the AirUCI investigators was held on December 13.

Attendance Information
The deadline to submit papers for discussion is August 1, 2006.  (Duration: 15 minutes including discussion.)

Registration will close on October 1, 2006 For non-AirUCI attendees, there is no cost to register but if you wish to attend the workshop dinner at Annie's Wine Bar and Restaurant on the evening of December 12th, there will be a $55 NZD fee per person.

For those in the U.S. eligible to be reimbursed for travel expenses, you must fly on a U.S. air carrier.  (United Airlines partners with Air New Zealand and offers reasonable fares, although the air carrier is the important factor for reimbursement, not the ticket price.)  Contact Melissa Sweet for details at msweet@uci.edu or 949-824-2628 in California.
