Teacher Workshop 2006

AirUCI's second annual Teacher Workshop will be held at UCI June 26-July 11, 2006 Dates of the class are June 26-30, July 5-7 and July 10-11 (with no class over Fourth of July break on July 1-4, or weekend of July 9-10). Classes will be held each day from 9 am – 4 pm. For details, contact Professor Sergey Nizkorodov at 949-824-1262. This is an intensive Environmental Chemistry program, geared for science teachers in grades 8-14. It is open to any teacher, but unfortunately AirUCI cannot provide assistance with lodging or transportation. For teachers outside our area, you might visit http://www.housing.uci.edu/hoteluci to see if there is housing available on campus, but we cannot make these arrangements. The course includes morning lectures presented by leading researchers in the field of Atmospheric Chemistry and afternoon environmental analysis projects in our labs. Attending teachers receive:

Registration deadline for the 2006 class is June 12, 2006. Class size is limited to 20 teachers and enrollment is on a first come, first served basis.
