Environmental and Chemistry Lessons
Shared by Teachers for Grades 8-14
AirUCI desires to promote education in Environmental Sciences and Chemistry in grades 8-12 and at the community college level. As part of our outreach, we want to share the contributions of teachers who attended our AirUCI 2005 Summer Teacher Workshop.
On this page you will find lessons that have been presented by these teachers in their classrooms. Each of these lessons is identified by grade and subject and has been submitted for this purpose by the teachers who created them.
You may freely borrow these lesson plans for use in your own classroom and direct other teachers to this page who might benefit from these lessons.
However, we ask that you acknowledge AirUCI and the teacher whose lesson you've selected each time you use one of these lesson plans. For example, you might include a line that says something like:
"This lesson was created by [teacher's name] from [teacher's school and location] and is provided courtesy of the AirUCI Institute at www.chem.uci.edu/airuci."
