UC Irvine Undergraduate Chemistry Symposium

Conducting undergraduate research in Southern California this summer?

If so, please join us on August 20th, for the annual UC Irvine Undergraduate Chemistry Symposium, where you can discuss and hear the latest about chemistry and graduate programs with your peers from UC Irvine and other research institutions.

The schedule is expected to include the following.

Tuesday, August 20, 2013.

10:00 am  Prof. Jenn Prescher lecture, Lighting up life with chemical tools and noninvasive imaging
11:00 am Poster Session
12:30 pm Lunch
1:30 pm Short Talk about UCI Graduate Program, Prof. Chris Vanderwal
2:00 pm Tours of UC Irvine labs and facilities
3:00 pm Prof. Rachel Martin lecture, Seeing through the molecular basis of cataract formation
 

 

All undergraduate attendees are asked to bring a poster describing their research.  Lunch will be provided. 

Poster presenters: please format your poster to fit on a 48"x48" board.
