Nomination Submission Form

Since 2011 the Allergan Foundation has made it possible for over 25 talented graduate students to pursue focused research in a variety of sub-disciplines of cutting edge chemical synthesis. The Allergan Graduate Fellowship allows fellows to devote 100% of their time to research, thus boosting their productivity, speeding their time to degree, and increasing their competitiveness for grant funding, postdoctoral fellowships, and research positions in academia and industry. 

The application must include the following materials in one PDF:
  • Student CV
  • Student research summary (typically 2-3 pages)
  • Unofficial transcript
  • Recommendation letter
Faculty with graduate students that meet the following criteria are encouraged to nominate their student:
  • Advanced graduate student (fourth or fifth year)
  • Conducting organic research (including chemical biology and soft materials)
  • Strong academic history in chemistry graduate courses
  • Publication record  

Applications are due June 30th, 2023 and should be submitted by the PI. Applications can be submitted online via a Google Form.
