OC register discusses Miller's role investigating JFK assassination.
In 1977, former UCI Chemistry Professor Vince Guinn, assisted by Prof Emeritus George Miller, used the unique UCI chemistry department’s nuclear reactor and neutron activation analysis to examine evidence relating to the JFK assassination.
Vince Guinn was asked to carry out chemical analysis on bullet fragments from the assassination that had been retained in the National Archives. Guinn and Miller tested the fragments that killed the President to determine if they matched and likely came from the same single bullet. Professor Guinn testified about his results to the House Select Committee on Assassinations in September 1978.
