The Master’s Degree Program in Computational Science prepares you for high skilled jobs in the industry and national labs. The curriculum features courses in data science emphasizing scientific database techniques, problem-solving skills using computers, communication skills, and math skills for creating mathematical models. These skills are sought by most tech and biotech industry and national lab employers. Through its interdisciplinary approach to graduate training, the Computational Science Research Center (CSRC) research projects are conducted under the supervision of CSRC faculty in different disciplines. Our data science degree produces the broadly educated, capable scientists and engineers needed in the 21st century.

Also, there are strong connections of CSRC faculty with local industry (that includes Biomedical, Communications, Engineering, Aerospace and Defense, Healthcare and Entertainment) which provides many opportunities for students to interact with researchers from industry and national labs to receive hands on experience working on real life problems.

Please contact the Computational Science Research Center if you have questions about our graduate programs and check our websitefor detailsregarding the master program and the application process.
