Visiting Assistant Professor(s) - Whittier College Chemistry
The Whittier College Chemistry department, an ACS-approved program, is looking for up to two one-year Visiting Assistant Professors for the 2019-2020 academic year (full-time, non-tenure track) with the potential for renewal. One position is in Organic Chemistry and the other position could be in any sub-discipline of chemistry. A successful candidate will have earned a Chemistry Ph.D., an M.S. with significant college-level teaching experience, or ABDs may also be considered. Teaching responsibilities for the Organic Chemistry position will include two semesters of Organic chemistry, one semester of General Chemistry, and a course for non-majors. Teaching responsibilities for the second potential position include two semesters of General Chemistry and a course for non-majors.
