Graduate Division is now accepting nominations for the 2020-2021 ARCS Foundation Scholar Awards. If you would like to be considered for this award, please send the following materials to Garrett Yoshitomi (gyoshito@uci.edu) by Monday, October 26, 2020 at 8am. (NOTE: This is different than the Graduate Division deadline.)

Students who are applying must be available to give a 10-15-minute Zoom presentation on their research at some time that is tentatively November 2 - 4 (students will be allowed to choose from a pool of presentation times). Students will be asked questions at the end of their presentation. The presentations will be given in front of individuals with a variety of educational levels ranging from no science experience to an expert in the student’s field of study. The challenge for the students giving the presentations will be explaining their research to all educational levels while remaining engaging.
