In a recent communication to the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Professor Jarvo and graduate student Tim Barker have reported nickel-catalyzed coupling reactions of N-chloroamines with organozinc reagents. A one-pot procedure circumvents the need to isolate the N-chloroamine prior to coupling.
