Michael Tran serves as the supervisor for the upper division and chemistry major-specific teaching laboratories in the Department of Chemistry at University of California, Irvine. He oversees laboratory operations supporting a wide range of instructional courses including general chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical biology, analytical chemistry, organic synthesis, and materials science. Mike works closely with instructional staff, teaching assistants, and laboratory personnel to ensure teaching labs are safe, organized, fully operational, and effectively support undergraduate education and hands-on scientific training.
