Application Deadline:

Saturday, June 1, 2019

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in David Gorin's lab in the Chemistry Department at Smith College.  The Fellow will conduct research into the use of modified DNA molecules as chemical reagents to selectively modify one compound in a complex mixture (for our recent progress, see: Chem. Sci., 2018, 2105). There are extensive opportunities to directly mentor undergraduate researchers. The current postdoc in the lab is leaving to start a tenure-track job at a liberal arts college, and this position is potentially a great fit for someone intending to pursue a career at such an institution.  The desired start date is summer 2019.
