Amberstone Biosciences has positions open (at all levels) in areas of antibody/protein discovery and engineering.

Position (1)

We are seeking an experienced Associate Scientist/Scientist in Antibody Therapeutics group at Amberstone Biosciences. The main responsibilities include protein expression and purification, developing and optimizing HTP automated work process for small-scale antibody expression and purification.

Qualification

B.S or M.S in biochemistry, molecular Biology or a related discipline with 1-5 years of industry and/or academic experience.

Highly motivated, willing to work in a startup company, eager to learn/develop protein chemistry and molecular cell biology techniques.

Knowledge/expertise in biochemistry skills such as expression, HPLC (affinity, size exclusion, reverse phase, ion exchange chromatography), AKAT system, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and protein analytic skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-pace team environment.

Position (2)

We are seeking an experienced Associate Scientist in Antibody Therapeutics group at Amberstone Biosciences. The main responsibilities include molecular cloning and characterization of antibodies and developing/optimizing throughput automated work processes.

Qualification

B.S or M.S in Molecular Biology or a related discipline with 1-2 years of industry and/or academic experience.

Highly motivated, willing to work in a startup company, eager to learn/develop molecular cell biology techniques.

Knowledge/expertise in molecular and cell biology skills such as RNA isolation, cloning, RT-PCR, sequencing, data analysis and cell-based assays. Experiences in hybridoma/B cell cloning, NGS, automation, ELISA, Biacore SPR, and/or Octet BLI are plus.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-pace team environment.
