Enrollment & Registration
Graduate students must enroll in graduate/upper-division courses for a minimum of 12 units each quarter. Registration for more than 16 units per quarter requires advance approval by the appropriate area advisor and requested via Bailey Spelman. eTech fees are assessed when a student enrolls in an undergraduate course. The eTech fee is student's responsibility to pay. Detailed information can be found at Registrar's Office listed under Undergraduate Student Fees.
Registration in every regular academic session (Fall, Winter, Spring) is necessary until all requirements for an advanced degree have been completed. There are two separate steps:
- Enrollment in units via WebReg
- Payment of tuition/fees (and NRST, if applicable)
Students must be enrolled in units no later than the initial fee payment deadline for that quarter to avoid being dropped from units. Fee remission from student employment will not be reflected on the ZotAccount if students are not enrolled in units. **The responsibility remains with the student to ensure that fees are paid by the deadline.**

total = 16 units

1 unit Chem 251 (4th year proposal)
