The UCI Chemistry Stockroom is looking for Student Assistants for the 2021-22 academic year! 

Chemistry Stockroom Assistants will work to provide logistical support for Chemistry Teaching Laboratories. Under the stockroom manager’s supervision, duties include: checking in and out chemical and equipment to students, providing safety policy monitoring and enforcement, preparing chemical solutions, performing chemical inventory, washing glassware, cleaning and maintaining stockroom and teaching lab space, handling hazardous waste generated from weekly experiments, and miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the stockroom manager. Must be willing to wash dishes!

Requirements:

• UCI Undergraduate Students Only (must be currently enrolled)

• Completed all general chemistry lectures and labs, or equivalent at another campus - Required

• Completed organic chemistry lectures and labs, or equivalent at another campus - Prefer

• Current work study grant - Prefer
