The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) in Orange County is now accepting applications, for their new mentorship program called The Rancho Academy, from second-year graduate students who are interested in starting a faculty or administrator career at the community college level. This program was created by the RSCCD – Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) to advance the opportunities for students of diverse backgrounds to learn the ins and outs of the California Community College system. This program is a ten-week commitment at no cost, and students will be matched with a faculty or administrator mentor. All are welcome to apply, and people of color, women, persons with disabilities, veterans, and LGBTQIA+ are highly encouraged to apply. The application deadline is October 14, 2021. The program start date is November 1, 2021.
