The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Kansas seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor in experimental condensed matter physics (CMP) with an emphasis on quantum information science or areas related to it to begin August 18, 2022.

Qualifying candidates must have a doctorate degree in physics or a closely related field. A strong record of research and commitment to excellence in teaching are required. Candidates with research interests in areas of experimental condensed matter physics that are related to quantum information science and compatible with the existing efforts in the department are particularly encouraged to apply.
