Suvrajit Sengupta is the Director of the NMR Facilities. He oversees the operations of both the Chemistry NMR Facility in Reines Hall and the Biomolecular NMR Facility in Natural Sciences 1. He also provides operational support for the PharmSci NMR Facility in Theory 101. He maintains the NMR spectrometers, implements new experimental protocols for the research community, trains and provides consultation to users, maintains data repositories, and manages the finances of the facilities. He has been in this role since 2023. He had previously been a post-doc in the department from 2013 – 2018 and worked with Prof. Kenneth Janda and Prof. Rachel Martin.
