The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, Northridge has initiated a search for two full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry positions commencing August 2024, one in Organic Chemistry and one in Biochemistry.

The successful Organic Chemistry candidate will have research interests in organic materials chemistry, computational organic chemistry, and/or physical organic chemistry. The successful Biochemistry candidate will diversify, and ideally further modernize, the biochemistry research areas currently represented in the Department. Primary teaching responsibilities will include introductory and general chemistry courses at the undergraduate level, and either organic chemistry or biochemistry and special topics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
