Liran Zhu, a student who participated in the Chemistry Olympiad hosted by UCI Chemistry a few weeks ago, has been selected to be part of the US team to compete internationally in the UAE. This is a great outreach collaboration between UCI Chemistry and the OCACS.

Liran will spend two weeks at the University of Maryland in early June as one of 20 from across the nation that were invited to the U.S. Study Camp. At the end of those two weeks four will be chosen to represent the U.S. at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) where they will compete against the top students from over 80 other countries. This year's IChO will be from July 5-14 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
