Applicants are sought for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in the laboratory of Prof. Adam Urbach at Trinity University.

Trinity University is a private liberal arts and sciences institution located in San Antonio, Texas. Our chemistry department is nationally recognized for its excellence in undergraduate education through rigorous coursework and a highquality undergraduate research program, which is one of the oldest and most active in the nation. This postdoc position is well-suited for those interested in pursuing a faculty position at a primarily undergraduate institution.

The Urbach research group specializes in the investigation and application of the molecular recognition of peptides and proteins with cucurbit[n]uril receptors. The Urbach research laboratory is located in a state-of-the-art facility and is funded by grants from the Welch Foundation, the NIH, and Research Corporation for Science Advancement. This position is funded by a grant from the Welch Foundation and can be extended up to May 31, 2028.

Qualified candidates will have the ability and motivation to work independently and with undergraduate students, good communication skills, and demonstrated technical expertise in synthetic organic chemistry.
