The UCLA Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry is seeking outstanding candidates for the Paul D. Boyer / Donald J. Cram / Willard F. Libby Teacher-Scholar program (Assistant Adjunct Professor position).  This program provides both teaching and research opportunities for recent Ph.D. graduates (Ph.D. earned 2023-2026).

The Assistant Adjunct Professors are expected to serve for three years, with the initial appointment as Assistant Adjunct Professor being for one year and subject to renewal for the second and third years. Responsibilities include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams and problem sets, supervising teaching assistants, and conducting cutting-edge research with a sponsoring faculty mentor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. Qualified candidates should be recent Ph.D. recipients (Ph.D. earned 2023-2026) in chemistry or biochemistry and have demonstrated excellence in their previous research and teaching positions.
