The small molecule and chemistry programs at Capable Labs is growing their chemistry team.

At Capable, we are building an AI-enabled drug discovery platform that closely integrates molecular design, synthesis, and biological testing. We have raised $42M to date from 50 Years, with angel funding from Andrej Karpathy, Wojciech Zaremba, and Fidji Simo. Our Scientific Advisory Board includes Prof. George Church, Prof. Bradley Pentelute, and Prof. Luis de Lecea. We are building an AI-driven autonomous wet lab loop aimed at turning advances in frontier AI into novel therapeutics and accelerating a 24-hour DMTA cycle for peptides.

We are looking for graduate students nearing graduation and postdocs with strong hands-on synthetic organic chemistry skills, particularly in multistep synthesis and methodology development. The ideal person enjoys working in the lab, can independently design and troubleshoot synthetic routes, and is excited to apply those skills to small molecule and peptide drug discovery.
