Department of Chemistry Graduate Student Riya Singh, a member of the Patterson Lab, recently received the ACS Recognition of Excellence and Leadership, in recognition of her leadership in inclusion and belonging, through the ACS Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars Recognition Program. This program recognizes talented graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in the chemical sciences who demonstrate leadership in areas such as mentoring, inclusion and belonging, research safety, science outreach and engagement, and science advocacy.
