Alumni Dr. Chris Sanborn of the Ardo Group publishes a paper in the journal Chem (Cell Press) that helps to explain the observed decrease in acidity of molecules covalently bound to nanoporous ion-conducting materials. These results will help the group to better design polymers used in light-driven ion pumps.
