Merck is seeking a highly motivated and skilled synthetic chemist to join Boston Discovery Chemistry as a postdoctoral fellow. The postdoc fellow will be responsible for developing and applying new methods toward the synthesis of biological probes, heterobifunctional degraders, and other tools molecules of relevance to chemical biology. This role will rely heavily on the use of high-throughput experimentation (HTE) and will collaborate with the HTE, Chemical Biology, and Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD) groups across the Discovery Chemistry network specifically Cambridge MA and Rahway, NJ, including travel where appropriate. The successful fellow must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration and will be expected to deliver high-quality peer-reviewed publications and present externally at chemistry conferences.
